Father in Heaven, Thank you...

That the God of the universe is good, not evil.  That you never change.

That you do not treat us as our sins deserve. 

That you have removed our sins as far as the east is from the west.

That Jesus does not call us servants but friends. 

That he loved us more than he loved himself.

That you take no pleasure in the death of the wicked but long for them to repent.

That we are valuable to you regardless.

That you can make everything work for the good of those who love you.

That we are welcome in your presence.

That you reconcile races, parents and children, husbands and wives.

That you have given us enough that we can give.

That I grew up surrounded by the love of parents, grandparents and the family of God.

That those who didn't have a blessed family heritage can start one.

That those who follow Jesus never see each other for the last time.

 

Thank you...

For those who died to preserve the faith.

For faithful generations who passed your word down to us.

For the church brotherhood who brought me to Christ.

For parents who set an example.

For the unique enjoyment of fellowship with siblings.

For patience and forgiveness I have received from others.

For my faithful companion who shares my values.

For children who honor you and teach me.

For new births, lives redeemed and relationships restored.

For spiritual heroes and heroines.  For friends who are a treasure.

For unmatched abundance, freedom, security and peace.

For the beautiful creation that reflects your glory.

For sunrise and sunset and high mountain trails.

For the family of God.
