Children
NBC KIDZ, the Children's Ministry at New Beginnings, has the following purposes:
-To plant God's Word in the hearts of children;
-To teach children to pray about everything;
-To build relationships across race, gender, age, and socio-economic lines; and
-To lead our children to Christ through dynamic, interactive worship.
NBC KIDz activities are for children from 5 years old through 6th grade. We meet upstairs in the Kid Zone on Sundays (dismissed from the Worship Center following communion), and on Wednesday evenings for an exciting time filled with Active Worship, Creative Teaching, Building Friendships, and Fun Activities.

NBC Kidz Memory Challenge
Fall 2006 we challenged the kids to learn 100 memory verses total. They did such a SUPER JOB we want to extend that challenge again. We promised that if they learned 100 memory verses total as a group, we will have an ice cream party!
Beginning February 3, your kids can tell Ms. Amy or Ms. Jane the memory verse or verses they have learned. We will keep track of them and when they have learned 100 total, we will have a party. As before, the top memorizers in each age group will get a special gift.
Parent involvement is CRUCIAL to the success of this program. Encourage and talk to your kids about the importance of having God's word written on their heart.
