At Christmastime, New Beginnings families purchase and deliver gifts to the children of inmates in their parent's name. Each gift delivery also presents an opportunity to share the love and hope of Christ with each family. Through Angel Tree, these children feal a parent's love, despite their absence. Namikango Mission exists to train faithful effective church leaders to carry out Christ-centered ministry by excellence in teaching and by modeling the life of Jesus Christ to the church and community through service and evangelism. The mission oversees Namikango Bible School as well as Namikango Maternity Clinic. Mark and Era Thiesen head up the work at the mission. They are shown here with their two children, Erik and Dana. You can drop them a note at Justin and Michelle Custer have lived in Diosd, Hungary, since 2002. Justin teaches at the International Christian School of Budapest, a cooperative effort of Campus Crusade for Christ with other mission agencies. This unique ministry provides education to the children of missionaries to allow the parents to focus full time on reaching Eastern Europe and Russia with the Gospel. On average, 70 missionary families from 31 different mission agencies benefit yearly from the school, many of which are affected personally by Justin and Michelle. This couple had their first child, William, in June of 2009. If you would like to send Justin and Michelle a note of support and encouragement, send to: and The Mbale Mission Team (MMT) working with fellow servants from both Kenya and Uganda, has witnessed the expansion of the mission work since 1995 into 16 districts of eastern Uganda, with more than 150 congregations from 11 different African ethnic groups, making it the quickest growing mission work in Eastern Uganda. MMT is committed to uniformly applying sound Biblical mission principles in all its evangelistic work, church-planting, and training of leaders in Mbale, Uganda and the surrounding areas. Operation Christmas Child brings joy and hope to children in desperate situations around the world through gift-filled shoe boxes and the Good News of God's love. This has been a great way for New Beginnings families to be involved in a simple, hands-on missions outreach while focusing on the true meaning of Christmas - Jesus Christ, God's greatest gift.
