South Houston Bible Institute (SHBI) is a not-for-profit, tuition-free Bible centered educational environment that offers training for personal Christian growth, lay ministry, and career ministry. Courses are offered in the evenings during the fall and spring semesters and are open to anyone regardless of race, nationality, sex, or religious belief. |

United Players is an amateur community theater ministry of Friendswood United Methodist Church. Members and friends of FUMC as well as community members are invited to audition and perform in musicals and plays. New Beginnings' own Bay Area Reportory Theater (BART) exchanges talent with United Players on a routine basis. |
