CHILI COOK-OFF ~ SATURDAY, MARCH 30
Pull out your secret recipes and heat up your pans!  Everyone is invited to join us for our annual NBC Chili Cook-Off from 6-8 PM at Clear Lake City Community Association. There will be judges to award a prize and the coveted title of “Prize Winning Chili Recipe”. A sign-up sheet will be placed on the Connect Table soon.
 
FORGOTTEN SINNERS MINISTRY MEAL ~ THIS FRIDAY, FEB. 22
One large vegetable dish (to serve 20 people) is still needed for our meal. If you can help out with this need, please contact Janis Parish at 713-304-0674.
There will be two food drop-off locations this Friday:
     –Lori Elliott will accept food delivery between 3:45 and 4:15 PM

     –Bill Jones will accept food delivery between 3:45 and 4:15 PM
       125 Fairport Court / Dickinson, TX  77539
 
Janis will also be purchasing 150 pieces of fried chicken, 12 lbs of potato salad, 122 bread rolls, green salad with tomatoes and dressing, coffee, and coffee creamer to serve a delicious meal to grateful recipients.
 
LADIES DAY ~ SATURDAY, APRIL 13
Planning is underway for a special gathering on Saturday, 4/13/19, for all NBC ladies. Please set aside this time to join us! Our guest speaker will be Alene Snodgrass and you can learn a bit more about her at www.positivelyalene.com. There will be no fee for this event and food will be provided. Stay tuned for more details.

PRAYER REQUESTS
Mary Antsen underwent knee replacement surgery this morning at SE Memorial.  All seems to have gone very well and she expects to be discharged home later today and will begin physical therapy very soon. Please continue to pray for Mary’s recovery.
 
Ty Hayes will undergo treatment for bone infection.  They wait to see which treatment insurance will approve. Ty has an appointment with the orthopedic surgeon again tomorrow morning.  Please continue to remember Ty in prayer.

Tracy Combs (shoulder injury), Angie Dagley (cancer), Ron Essenpreis (cancer), Dale Haines (knee replacement surgery), Ty Hayes, Ann James (wrist surgery), Starla Jones (cancer),  Gladys Mayes (cancer), Barbara McCombs, Cindy Medearis, Carolyn Simpson Murrah (cancer), Tricia Peace, Dawn Reinarz (cancer), Yolanda Solomonsz, Becca Spence (pneumonia cleared but fluid in ears now), the other members of the Spence Family seem to have recovered from various ailments.
